TEHRAN (IQNA) – Congregational prayers will not be held in Iran’s government offices until further notice.

According to the Headquarters for Holding Prayers, the decision has been made due to concerns over the spread of the novel coronavirus in the country.

Hamed Salehi, the director of the headquarters’ public relations office, said all government offices and administrative bodies should ensure conditions for employees to say their prayers individually.
